Paytomat, the decentralized system for cryptocurrency payments, announces a new update of its multi-currency wallet which now supports EOS. With a capitalization of $6.5 billion, EOS is ranked among top 5 cryptocurrencies in the world. Integration with the Paytomat Wallet makes it available for everyday payments across hundreds of points-of-sales where Paytomat operates.
As Paytomat becomes one of the few projects in the world that support the EOS mainnet, users can now choose any available funds to pay fees in order to create an EOS account. The system itself shows how much funds you will spend on the fees in different cryptos. All you need is to push the “Create” button. The amount of the selected asset will be deducted and the account will be created immediately.
“We are the first ones to open the possibility to conveniently and safely make purchases via EOS in the offline world. We believe this decision will benefit both Paytomat and EOS potential investors for which the threshold of entry will be significantly reduced”, – Yurii Olentir, Paytomat CEO, said.
The Paytomat Wallet is available for downloading at Google Play, closed testing of the iOS version is available upon request. It currently supports 6 cryptocurrencies (BTC, LTC, ETH, DASH, Waves, XEM, EOS), with more to come. In the future, Paytomat will advance the wallet’s functionality, combine it with Paytomat Merchant App and implement the blockchain-based loyalty program.
Paytomat is a blockchain-based payment processing system created to help merchants, consumers and crypto core teams to find each other and create real life traction for cryptocurrencies as an emerging method of everyday payments. Built as a decentralized autonomous organization and decentralized franchise, Paytomat features a unique loyalty program based on PTM coin, incentivizing merchants to accept payments in crypto, and PTX tokens, thereby incentivizing customers to pay with crypto.
